What is Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Course?
27 & 28 August 2025
Arhatic Yoga Prep Course is the pre-requisite to attend the Arhatic Yoga Retreat.
The name of of this practice comes from the Sanskrit word “arhat” which means “highly evolved person” or “saint”. It is essentially someone who has successfully refined their emotions to become a more spiritually developed person.
The process of Arhatic Yoga Prep involves gentle exercises, meditation, breathing techniques and spiritual practices that have been blended together into a single system as formulated by Master Choa Kok Sui. It brings together elements various yogas and is known as the “yoga of synthesis”.
Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Level is the first course to be attended to understand the essentials of this daily practice for self realisation.
Once the student has completed a minimum of 2 years of consistent practice, they may be eligible, on application, for Arhatic Yoga Level 1, which allows the student to prepare the body and energetic system for a bigger flow of of energy.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
Evening meals are not included in the Course Fee. Meal vouchers will be available for purchase if you are dining at the venue. This will be communicated via email after registration.
What are Arhatic Yoga Levels?

Arhatic Yoga Higher levels are for the graduates of Arhatic Yoga Preparatory course who have been diligently practising this level for a minimum of 2 years. Please read the details on the link above to learn more about the levels and the eligibility criteria.
To apply for the Arhatic Yoga Levels, an application form will be submitted to the Committee of Masters at the Institute of Inner Studies. Attendance of the course will be subject to their approval.
Refreshments are included. No meals are included. Arrangements for meals for those attending the Arhatic Yoga Levels will be communicated at the Retreat.

- I am new to Arhatic Yoga, what must I do to attend the Retreat? You need to complete Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Course and then you are welcome to attend the Arhatic Yoga Retreat.
- Can I attend the retreat immediately after completing the Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Course? Yes
- What are my rights if I cannot attend the Arhatic Preparatory Course or Arhatic Yoga Level Courses? Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for Pranic Healing courses, where a refund less a deposit fee is applicable until 7 days before the course, after which no refund is applicable.
- I have already done Arhatic Yoga courses, what must I do to attend the Retreat? To attend the Arhatic Yoga Retreat you just need to submit your most recent Arhatic Yoga certificate on registration.
- I did my Arhatic Yoga Courses in another country, can I attend the Retreat? Yes, the Arhatic Yoga Retreat is open to all who have completed Arhatic Yoga courses anywhere in the world. All that is required is that you submit your certificate on registration.
- Can I do the Arhatic Yoga Levels immediately after doing Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Level? No, for the Arhatic Yoga Levels every level of is a prerequisite for the next level. One is required to practice each level for a minimum period before applying for the next level.
- Can I apply for Arhatic Yoga Level 1, 2, 3 and 3.2 at the same time? No, each level requirement is a period of a year or more before eligibility for the next level.
- I have been practicing Arhatic Preparatory Level for a minimum of 2 years, can I apply for Arhatic Yoga Level 1? Yes, register for the Level 1 and pay the refundable deposit fee. You will receive and application form.
- How do I apply for the next Arhatic Level for which I have met the requirements? Register online for the Level you wish to do. Pay the refundable deposit fee. You will then receive a confirmation of your order and an application form. Make sure you meet the criteria before completing and submitting your application back to us via email
- What happens to my application form for the Arhatic Yoga Levels once I have submitted it? The application form is sent to the Institute of Inner Studies, our global governing body, and is subject to the approval of their committee of Masters.
- How long do I have to wait to hear if my application was successful? The sooner you submit your application, the sooner we can advise you of the outcome. We will notify you as soon as we have the confirmation from the Institute of Inner Studies.
- Do I get my deposit refunded if I am not approved for the next level? Yes, your deposit is fully refundable and this will be credited back to your account.
- What happens if I am successful with my application for the next level? We will notify you and request your balance of payment for you to attend the course.
- If I am doing an Arhatic Yoga Level course for the first time, do I pay the review fee for the previous level? No, the review fee is waived for the previous level if you are doing the Level course for the first time. You will automatically be registered to attend the previous level at no cost.
- What is a VIP seat? These seats are in the front rows and can be purchased at a premium rate. Seating will be allocated on a first registered to last registered, with those registered first at the front of this section.
- What is a normal seat? These seats will be allocated on a first registered to last registered basis, with those registering first seated near the front behind the VIP section.
- What are my rights if I can no longer attend the Arhatic Yoga Retreat 2025? Please make sure you have read and understood our Terms and Conditions as the fee for the Arhatic Retreat UK 2025 is non-refundable after the 14 day “change your mind” period has lapsed.
- What clothing should I bring? It is summertime in the UK and temperatures range from 15-30 degrees Celsius. Bring comfortable light coloured clothing with cardigans, shawls to layer over should you feel cooler.
