A New Chapter Begins

Many of us feel a bit blue once the celebrations of the festive season are over. All of those months of planning and excitement for get-togethers with family and friends; rituals and traditions, delicious food, and gift-giving are over for another twelve months. A New Year might beckon but the remains of the winter can seem long and dark when we still have to wait a while for the joys of spring. Add New Year’s resolutions to the mix and the trudge to bluebell-hewn woods, spring chicks and the sun’s caress can feel never-ending.

Fortunately, Master Choa Kok Sui, the modern founder of Pranic Healing, left us with much wisdom to embrace the new, often in the simplest but most profound of words:

‘You cannot stop change.’

These four powerful words help us to instantly loosen our grip on the past and remember that everything in this universe is cyclical in nature. The deep truth of these words stops us fixating on what’s been and gone, so that we can step into the fresh month and year with eagerness, purpose and a determination to find the sparkle in the new. January truly can be magic if we approach it with childlike wonder, as well as pragmatism. When we make a conscious decision to live in the present, every month of the year becomes a present. A rebirth and a reboot. Another chance to achieve our goals, another opportunity to make good on our intentions to do good, to spread peace and to help others less fortunate than ourselves.

Master Choa Kok Sui also said:

‘People must have the will to create change. Status quo is not acceptable.’

We can set our intentions and dream our dreams but unless we foster the discipline and commitment to stick to a new routine, then permanent and lasting change is unlikely to happen. From going to the gym to eating healthier, meditating to saving money, and learning something new to ditching the bad habits. But the good news is, there are many tools to help…

One of the best ways to cultivate this willpower is by going on a Pranic Healing Course, where from the very first level, students learn how to remove negative thoughts, replacing them with the positive, so that they can transform every aspect of their lives.
