Check-in on your health
A good start is to really spend some time thinking about your health as well as your emotional and mental wellbeing. When we are moving towards change, we first need to be aware. Awareness helps us to see what’s not quite right and what needs to change.
Ask yourself:
What physical challenges am I having right now?
What’s ongoing that I want to be free of?
How are my emotions? Am I stable right now, am I up and down? Am I worried or anxious?
How are my thoughts? Am I a cup half full, or half empty type of person?
Be honest with yourself – that’s the only way to truly affect real and lasting change. There are no right or wrong answers – you are you, and that’s fine.
Worry and anxiety can cause physical illness
There has long been evidence, in science and life experiences, of the mind-body link.
