Would you like to put a spring in your finances as well as your step as we enter a new season?
Do you struggle to save?
Were you raised to believe that ‘charity begins at home’ and ‘money doesn’t grow on trees?
Does it feel like your only opportunity for a prosperous life is via the lottery?
With a change of the seasons comes a change of perspective. Spring is on its way and whilst flowers bloom all around us and new life is born, we can tap into this energy, too, applying the symbolism of fresh beginnings into every area of our own lives.
One such area that many of us would love to see blossom is that of our finances. But how can a simple change in the way we view money possibly achieve that? Well, when we look at science and remember that everything is made up of energy – from the chair we are sitting on to the cells in our bodies, then we realise that money is no different. And from a spiritual perspective, money is nothing more than a tool. An energetic tool.
So the first thing that we need to do is clean up our opinion of money and our current financial situation. It’s extraordinary how many of us have been brought up to regard money as ‘the root of all evil’ – and a whole range of other very limiting beliefs.
This takes us back to the energy thing again: our negative thoughts about money will constantly keep it at arm’s length. Just as finances are made up of energy, so are the very thoughts that circle our head – not to mention the words of complaint that come out of our mouth referring to our lack of prosperity.
Being conscious of our thoughts, words, actions and deeds is a powerful first step in obtaining a healthier financial outlook. Likewise, gratitude also plays its part. When we start to appreciate the many blessings we do have – from the shape of our bank accounts and savings to the things we often take for granted such as the roof over our heads, the food on our table, and the clothes on our backs, we literally shift our negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Not only does this make us feel good, but the genuine heartfelt gratitude is…. energy. Since like attracts like, and gratitude is an act of giving, we know that ‘in giving we receive’. It’s a law that’s as scientific as it is spiritual.
Which leads neatly onto the subject of tithing. One of the best ways we can increase our own sense of peace regarding our current financial situation (whether we are struggling to pay the bills, looking for work, or comfortable but wishing we had a little more financial breathing space) is by helping others. Giving our money and/or our time – and giving with the purity of the heart, with no expectation of return – is a smart way to help the world whilst helping ourselves. Even, and especially when we have little ourselves and it seems counterintuitive to the mind, going against everything the ego would have us believe.
The heart knows better…
The power of random acts of monetary kindness is astonishing. But yet again, it’s as scientific as it is spiritual. We have only to look at some of the world’s greatest philanthropists for evidence of that.
But these simple steps are just the tip of the iceberg. For those who really want to take their finances to the next level, Pranic Healing offers a plethora of tools via simple protocols and teachings which can be learnt on beginners and advanced courses, through to specific courses on Kriyashakti and Spiritual Business Management.
