January marks a time of new beginnings, often marked by setting new goals around health, career and finances in order to achieve happiness and success. It is commonplace to put our focus on looking ‘outwards’ to reach these goals without truly considering and developing the characteristics required to achieve them. Have you ever considered that the key to your success and happiness already lies within you and it’s your own self development and understanding of oneself that will allow you to achieve things that you may once have thought impossible? Thus, ensuring that you have a goal this year to nurture your spiritual development, could end up the most important and impactful goal you will ever make.
So what do we mean by spiritual? There are many levels of truth and Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga describes spirituality as a way of life. He states ‘It is not just doing meditation. People on the spiritual path are not anaemic. They must be sharp, strong and courageous. Being spiritual means being powerful, dynamic and intelligent.’
These characteristics together will help you to achieve your goals throughout life with much greater ease. The process of developing these characteristics will ultimately allow you to develop a much deeper understanding and connection to yourself and enable you to remove internal obstacles that have the potential to stop you from achieving.
Developing these characteristics in balance is extremely important, for what good would it be to have power without intelligence? Or intelligence without the motivation and power to put it to good use? The tools and techniques that Master Choa Kok Sui developed are designed to do exactly that. He describes Pranic Healing as ‘a bridge to spirituality’. As you study the Pranic Healing courses, you will learn a multitude of techniques that you can put into practise on a daily basis, starting on the Level 1 course and running right through to Arhatic Yoga.
These techniques will help to develop a kind and loving heart, a powerful will and an intelligent mind, all allowing you to gain more inner peace and develop spiritually. A recipe to take your self-care to a whole new level, allowing you to achieve things that might be beyond your imagination right now.
Spirituality does not mean, as many believe, spending hours and hours meditating each day and in Master Choa Kok Sui’s words, ‘Spiritual practitioners or disciples should have their hands reaching out to Heaven … but their feet should be firmly rooted to the Earth.’ In spite of their spirituality, they must maintain their practicality. They must be able to produce physical results.’
